If you like, you may search on Insight Timer to find some more positive affirmations.  Here is a link to get you started on Insight Timer. https://insighttimer.com/aliceletts/g…

Today I just wanted to check in with you and see how you’re going? And how you’ve got on with listening to those guided positive affirmations from Louise Hay and Leslie Riopel?

It would be great if you could share some of your own favourite positive affirmations that you like to listen to, and maybe some poems or quotes that you find inspiring.

Please take the opportunity today to continue with your own positive affirmations.  So get some pen and paper and write out your own positive affirmations.

Lately, during lockdown and even outside of the lockdown, times can be difficult for a lot of us and if you are feeling that you’re struggling and not coping and you need help then please don’t hesitate to ask for help.  And call your local emergency services if it.   Otherwise, call your doctors, find your local counsellors or psychologists that you can talk to.  So don’t go it alone, do get help.

While we cherish how precious life is, others wanted to take their own lives.  If you can relate to this, then please know, the darkest of times, out come lightening of HOPE.  Where there is life, there is HOPE.  Focus on those who  you love and of you.   A parents,  a girlfriend,  boyfriend, friends,  a wife, a husband,  a son, a daughter. Your grandparents, grandchildren and what it would do to them. More over what it would do to you.

If you are struggling please seek help from your local emergency services.

Day 9 – Positive Affirmations

Positive Affirmations

Hello, and welcome to day 9 of the 90 day meditation challenge.  As you know, we are in week two.  And for week two we are going to be focusing on positive affirmations.  And how we can use positive affirmations to bring a little bit of joy into our lives.

Yesterday was day eight of our challenge, and also the beginning of week two.  If you logged into the course website, you would have been able to download a FREE pdf worksheet.  And in the worksheet you had the video, and you also had two tasks to complete.  Task number one was to watch or listen to the positive affirmations guided by Louise Hay, and it’s a good idea actually if you can find the time to listen to it throughout the week.   Task number two was for you to get some pen and paper and then first thing in the  morning, and/or last thing at night jot down a few things that you’re grateful for and think of some positive affirmations or things that you feel you are right now.  Or write down how you want to feel in the future.  What feelings do you want to be able to experience.  You may not be experiencing them now but it’s something that that you want to bring into your life.  So examples we had yesterday where “I am enough, I am joyous, I am free”.  The words “I am free” is I think something a lot of us take for granted, but in fact it is such a very important one, as you would come to appreciate if you very own freedom was snatched away from you.

To continue with some more affirmations, you could say “I am free, I am independent, I am adventurous, I am brave, I am courageous”.  So these are just a few examples of affirmations.

Today I’ve got another lovely video, a sort of audio meditation that I like to listen to by Leslie Riopel that I’ve included below.

1) Affirmations for healing https://insig.ht/tvJLgG3uBfb

2) Letting go and living in the flow https://insig.ht/JEdDRRavBfb

Also from yesterday’s challenge, remember to listen to Louise Hay too:- https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Llvo3YrVVVs&feature=youtu.be

The task for today, on day #9, is to continue with the tasks set yesterday on day #8. Take some time out to listen to some lovely guided positive affirmations.  Yesterday I recommended to you Louise Hay.  And today, I am now recommending that you listen to Leslie Riopel.

After you’ve listened to some positive affirmations to lift your spirits, then you can take the time to write down your gratitudes and also write your own affirmations.  If you do get stuck and find yourself somehow focusing only on the negatives then maybe write them down (the negatives).  But then after you’ve done that, you can cross out the negatives and convert it into a positive.  For example, what is the opposite?  If you’re having a negative feeling right now, then what is the opposite of that feeling?  And then write your own phrase in the style of “I am”.  For example, what you want to be and become.

This now brings today’s training to a close.  Thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy schedule to join me today.  And I shall see you tomorrow on day 10 of the meditation challenge.

Day 8 – Positive Affirmations

Hello, and welcome to day 8 of the 90 day meditation challenge. It’s a pleasure to have you join me again. This is week two of our 12 week meditation challenge and in week two we’re going to be focusing on positive affirmations.

Positive affirmations are a wonderful way to try and bring us a little bit of joy into our daily life. And this is particularly important if we happen to be feeling a little bit blue. Or if we’ve had some bad news. And we we need we need assistance to learn how to process it.

So positive affirmations can be great. And if you cannot or do not feel like there’s anything at all to be grateful for, or you cannot feel that there’s anything good left in the world then what i have found really helpful is to listen to some guided positive affirmations.

Task #1 – Listen to Louise Hay Guided Positive Affirmations
I particularly recommend the positive affirmations from Louise Hay. So i have shared with you below, the link to Louise Hay’s affirmations. I recommend that you take the time out today to listen to her positive affirmations. But what are positive affirmations, you may be wondering? Well positive affirmations are simply statements that you say which are in the “here and now” (I am etc), and are “positive”. In other words, your
affirmations will not be negative (default judgements) and they will not be in the future (I will etc). It may be at the time that you don’t or can’t relate to that. But it can be really helpful and it’s a good habit to get into every day.

Task #2 – Write
If you can maybe have a piece of paper and a pen and write down whatever comes to mind. Be sure to write first thing in the morning and then also last thing at night. To give you some ideas of what to write, perhaps you can make a list of three or four things that you’re grateful for right now. And three or four things that other people say are wonderful about yourself. And then these good things about yourself that either exist now or are feelings that you want to create in the future, are your positive affirmations. Things about your life. So you could, start really small you can just simply say “I am enough, I am enough, and you could repeat that one affirmation over and over again,
just as if it were a mantra. A repeated statement. Or you could continue, and recite more positive affirmations. For example, ” I am joyous, I am abundant”. So your task for today, which is Day #8 of the 90 day challenge, is to take the time to listen to Louise Hayes
positive affirmations – and do that today. And then join me tomorrow for day #9 where we will go into positive affirmations and you will spend time creating your own.

Day 7 – Focussed Awareness Meditation

Focussed Awareness Meditation

Hello and thank you for joining me today, that is day 7 of the 90 day meditation challenge.  This now brings us to the end of week one, where we’ve been doing “focused awareness meditations”.  By now you are competent and confident to create your own guided meditation for yourself for focussed awareness.

So today I’m going to do a very short focused awareness meditation, lasting just a minute.  So find somewhere comfortable and adjust yourself as required.  If you like you may now close your eyes.  Let us begin.

Counting down from two down to one.

Two breathe in calm, breathe out peace,

One breathe in calm, breathe out peace.

And in your own time, you may wiggle your fingers and toes and open your eyes.

This now brings this meditation to a close.

Blessings.

You are able to create your own focussed awareness meditation for yourself, wherever and whenever it’s convenient for you. I would like to congratulate you now for having stuck with it. You have now completed week 1 of your 12 week training.

And I look forward to you joining me tomorrow for day 8 of the 90 day meditation challenge, that will also bring us into week two of the challenge.

Day 6 – Focussed Awareness Meditation

Focussed Awareness Meditation

Welcome to Day 6 of the 90 day meditation challenge.

Hello, i’m not sure if you can hear me it’s quite noisy in the background. I want to welcome you to day six of the 90 day meditation challenge. We’re still in week one and in week one we’re learning how to create our own focused awareness meditations and by now you know the routine, how you you find you focus on your surroundings. You listen, what can you hear? What can you see?

Whether you’re out and about, or at home. Whether you’re just about to go to bed now, wherever you happen to be, just make yourself comfortable. And if you are able to close your eyes then you may like to do that now. Just find somewhere that’s comfortable for you.

Today is another short guided meditation. We will count back from five to one. Starting now.

Five, breathe and calm, breathe out peace,

Four breathe in calm and breathe out peace,

Three breathe in calm, breathe out peace,

Two breathe and calm, breathe out peace,

One breathe in calm, breathe out peace.

You may now wiggle your fingers, wiggle your toes, and in your own time open your eyes as this now brings the meditation to a close.

I encourage you to take this opportunity to set your intentions for the rest of today and tonight and moving into tomorrow.

You may also want to say your own meditation to yourself, by creating your own focused awareness meditation. You may choose some words that have meaning to you, whether this is joy, love, faith, compassion, courage etc.

Thank you for joining me today. Enjoy the rest of your day, goodbye, and i’ll see you tomorrow for day of the 90 day meditation challenge.
