I am finally back! It’s been a while. I had got so wrapped up with the day to day things, and shock horror, I figured out that it’s been 2012 since I wrote regularly in this blog. Originally my blog was called Alicestories, but then the name was changed to Allestreehb. Since 2012 I have managed to write one post each year … and then after I wrote my “one” post in 2016, I then lost my password and however much I wracked my brain to try to figure out the password, as well as the username, I just could not get back in. Until just this month! It was quite by chance that I came across the information, and what a relief to finally be able to get back into my blog. Yay!
So what has everyone been up to over these last four years? As for me, I have continued travelling around Asia and living back and forth between England and New Zealand. I have been busy working, but now I am a full time stay at home mum (SAHM) to my toddler, and I am treasuring every minute! It is a privilege and sheer joy to have this opportunity to look after a child – something which I thought would never happen. And as my close friends and family will tell you, it was a complete and utter shock. Without a doubt, it has been very difficult, but the smiles and laughter and wonder and satisfaction make is all worthwhile, and I am now a very big convert and huge advocate!
Now that I am back into this blog, I plan to post more regularly, at least once a month if not more. As always I will be sharing travel stories and photos and my passion for food and recipes. But in addition now I will also start to post vlogs and updates on toddler activities and entertainment.
I’ve now gone back into teaching the piano, specialising in preschoolers. Due to busy family commitments I am now teaching primarily online using skype and google hangout.
