Vallo is a city high on the hill tops. It is roughly two hours from the seaside village of Scario and one hour from the mountain village of Laurino. From Vallo there is a magnificent view of the sea. What I particularly liked about Vallo, was that they have free wi-fi. Given that the Internet cages charge €3.50 for 55 minutes and even then you cannot download, I think the free wi-fi is a brilliant discovery!
There was a small market in the town. In the town centre some lights were hung above as part of the celebrations going ahead this month.
I came across a table outside a cafe with some elderly gentlemen playing cards.
