Flora & fauna in the Italian home

Here are some photos I took in the garden in Cilento. The weather is very hot indeed. You’ll see I managed to find a feijoas tree at the local plant centre and have added it to the vege patch.

This feijoa tree is just a baby so will no doubt take a few years before it produces any fruit. We are seeing how well it does and if it is successful we will buy more plants to create a hedge of feijoas.

With this heat you will not be surprised to see that catcus grow very well here! There is aloe Vera too which can be useful, and the basil in the pots on the balcony go beautifully with the home grown tomatoes!
