What is your favourite fruit?

The first question to ask should be do you even like fruit?  I seem to take it for granted that everyone likes to eat fruit.  But to my astonishment I have recently met an increasing number of people who tell me they do not eat fruit.  It seems a great shame to pass up on a treat of the senses.  Fruit not only tastes good but is also a pleasure to the senses, the colour, the size, the texture, and the sheer variety.

What is your favourite fruit? Well, I enjoy all fruit.  I would say that my number one favourite fruit is the feijoa, but that can be difficult to obtain.  More accessible is my  number two favourite, that is the blackberry.   Today I discovered to my delight a pear tree in our back garden!  This is in addition to the apple tree and the wild berries too.  I haven’t discovered any blackberries yet, but I may well do, any day  now?  Here’s hoping!
