Now I’ve got the bug for fairs, I’ve already started to look for fairs in my area I can attend. The problem I have now is finding the time for it. The day last Saturday was fantastic, I had a good view from my table of the stage. The dancing and performances, and the music was excellent. I also had the opportunity during the day to make a few more items and even gave an impromptu demonstration on jewellery making, that resulted in requests for private tuition.
I found out some very interesting facts from the stall next to me. There are tours around the countryside that take walking groups around the Peaks district, and many of these tours are free, which I think is quite amazing, and I am definitely planning to take advantage of this later when the weather improves.
